Our little one weighs about a pound now and is almost a foot long!!! Whoa!
It's been a bit dramatic around here. I seem to have coughed so much and so hard that I pulled a muscle in my tummy. OUCH. It hurts soooo much to cough, but sometimes I get that tickle and I just have to! Especially when I'm sleeping.
As any ache or pain would, this tummy pain has gotten me a bit worried, all wrapped up in "kick counts" and wishing I had a doppler. I talked to two different nurses yesterday and they are not concerned.
I do not want to rely on baby kicks, but rather rely on my hope and faith that God will keep this little boy safe. Would you say a prayer today for our Baby Sam that he would be unaware of my discomfort and growing strong? Thanks. :)
GranJan to the rescue! She's coming over to help us grocery shop...better get showered!

Here are two verses that I came across last week, as I began to worry about our upcoming 20wk. ultrasound and all the "what if's???".
ReplyDeleteThey sure calmed my soul and I pray they will yours too.
P.S. I had the cough thing with Hudson too and sadly, it didn't end until the second I delivered him. The tickle in my throat would drive me nuts in the middle of the night. So sorry you're having it too. I feel your pain!

Psalm 34:4, "I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me, freeing me from all my fears."
Philippians 4:6-7, "Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and mind as you live in Christ Jesus."
It was a great day with you, Emma, and Sam. =) Happy times. Love, GJ
